Customizing your chess diagram colors

Chessdiag lets you change the board colors to match your blog’s style. Use the cl attribute for light squares and cd for dark squares — both take a 6-digit hex color code (no # needed).

Classic wood look:

[diag cl=f7f1e8 cd=898480]all[/diag]

Result:

RNBQKBNRPPPPPPPPsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssspppppppprnbqkbnr

Blue tournament style:

[diag cl=f7f1e8 cd=898480 flip=1 arrows=e2e4g]all[/diag]

Result:

Not sure which colors to pick? Use the color pickers in the Chessdiag editor — the WordPress shortcode is generated automatically with the right hex codes.
