The use of http://chessdiag.org is very easy. The left part of the screen is to edit
the chessboard. You just have to click on “Actualise” and copy the code…
First stage: if nothing is highlighted in the icon toolbar:
You are in “move” mode:
To move the pieces: one click to take a piece out of a square, another one to put it
back (“drag & drop” is forbidden).
The selections under the chessboard are respectively used to:
•Empty the chessboard;
•Place a white castle;
•Place a black castle;
•Place a white knight;
•Place a black knight;
•Place a white bishop;
•Place a black bishop;
•Place a white queen;
•Place a black queen;
•Place a white king;
•Place a black king;
•Place a white pawn;
•Place a black pawn;
•Initialise the chessboard in its starting position;
•Erase a square.
If an icon is selected, you are then in “Edit” mode. A new click will deselect it to
come back to the “Move” mode.
